We’re delighted to share that our work at HMP & YOI Polmont in partnership with @Scottish Prison Service has been featured in 1919 Magazine!
The article really brings the service to life – capturing the supportive and engaging environment we create, and offering insight into the experiences of the young people, in their own words. You can also meet some of our team members, including Ambassadogs Gryffin and Harry.
We deliver a range of dog-assisted programmes thanks to our brilliant Ambassadogs, and through our partnership with Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home young people have the opportunity to support rescue dogs who are waiting for their forever homes – helping them build the skills and confidence they need for successful rehoming.
Along the way, the young people are building something too: qualifications, employability skills, patience, and most importantly, belief in their own potential.
We’re incredibly proud of everyone involved and grateful for the opportunity to share an insight into this important work.
