The Dog Training Rehabilitation Programme
Child and Carer

Our Child and Carer projects are a great way to encourage a positive learning experience together; allowing the child and carer to support each other when working with our Ambassadogs. For children with behaviour difficulties this has been a particularly effective way to help their carers focus on and appreciate the more positive aspects of the child’s behaviour. By learning about the principles of positive reinforcement we can help carers to understand how they can help shape more positive behaviour and develop a stronger relationship with their child.
